For me it was my Aunt Jo. She was there in the beginning and there throughout my life. She encouraged me, accepted me, was a friend when I needed her and a hundred more things that are hard to express.
Yesterday I lost her, and my life is altered in ways I can't begin to realize. I ache with the feeling of being left behind. I can't pick up the phone and call her anymore, can't reach out just to feel her smile across the miles.
My Aunt Jo truly had a tribal heart and a tribal spirit. She was the best, and I miss her.
Josephine Collins ... rest in peace.
